Risk Assessment Monitoring System (RAMS)

We have developed a unique and powerful device that acts as an "early warning system"; RAMS can accurately predict addiction and relapse, and is able to pinpoint resources necessary for sustainable recovery.

How Does it Work?

RAMS delivers vital predictive and analytical early-warning information in four critical areas:

early onset use (prevention),
problem use (acute intervention/treatment)
chronic use (relapse), and
sustainable recovery pathways (recovery resources)

RAMS provides qualitative & quantitative information and data on both individual and aggregate levels, accounting for all the factors that play a role in addiction and relapse.

RAMS examines social determinants of health to calculate existing internal & external resources, infrastructure, and barriers across various domains.

RAMS identifies existing systems-wide challenges using a scientifically-credible method to examine:

estimated and high relapse rates;
costs associated with multiple relapses and treatments;
individuals with the highest relapse risks in order to ensure resource use and treatment efficiencies; and
target population relapse risk to inform service providers, communities, and/or counties

RAMS uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to great effect.

SEM is a multivariate statistical analysis technique used to analyze structural relationships. It incorporates several forms of analysis, and is used to examine the structural relationship between measured variables & latent constructs.

In other words, it helps to explain why people do what they do, and determines what factors lead to their actions.
